Passionate Politics friend and collaborator Dana Ariel is happy to invite you to the opening of her solo exhibition as part of the Brighton Photo Fringe 2016.

The opening will take place on Saturday October 1 at 5pm.

Encountering Perforated Ground emerged from a fascination with the German word verlernen – unlearning in English – which translates to a process of learning to forget. It is both a method of making and a method of encountering the landscape. Photography and the printing process offer the opportunity to stretch the making process and allow a process of unlearning through notions of erasure and loss, while embodying a conflict of seeing.
The works in photography, print, and text are traces from visits to sites in Israel, Palestine and Germany.

For more information about the exhibition and the festival please visit the Brighton Photo Fringe website.
